You are repeating yourself. I won't repeat myself. Didn't score goals that took Argentina to the finals in that world cup ? Didn't Di Maria score an important goal to past Argentina over Belgium in that same World Cup? Did Argentina win the final? Scoring goals for the latter stages is important bcos u won't reach the later stages if u don't score those goals (so u are right on. Ronaldo's goals bn important). But what's more important is to score goals in that later stages to WIN you the final itself. Do u see that? Anyway, Portugal were just luck they had to choose a best 3rd placed team .
