Today, Ramos is missing a top-level partner. Luis Enrique has arrived with an experimental mindset, moving one piece for another in search of a reliable player in a position in which Spain have been scarce for a long time.
Not to be confused, Inigo Martinez, Diego Llorente, Mario Hermoso, Nacho, Marc Bartra and Sergi Gomez are all good footballers, but they are not the best in their positions. Pique certainly was and is one of those. As time passes, the national team begins to feel the effects of the loss of legends like Iker Casillas, David Villa and Xavi Hernandez. Recently, the absence of Andres Iniesta and David Silva have added to that feeling of nostalgia.

After pique retired from Spain you could how much sloppy the defense.Pique always maintain the gaps even better then other centre back on the world .With Ramos The deadly duo are more effective Ramos is great defender but pique always well read the long ball better then him because his height was the advantage but in set pieces Ramos are more effective i admit it but those long ball from opponent to create attacks are now easy because Pique left.Pique should return Spain but the political issue might be problem for him.I always respect Spain but they should give independent and freedom to Catalunya.[byebye]
