In the 8th round of the English Premier League, Manchester United beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield. After the match, former English star Michael Owen commented on the performance of the two teams in this match.
“It was a fantastic game for the neutral. Lots of chances. Second half, Liverpool were really dominant. And when they scored you thought ‘here we go.’ A lot of people are going to look at this record, and think ‘four games, four defeats, what’s going wrong at Liverpool?’ and I suppose you’re right to ask that question, but when you watch their performance there today, it doesn’t smell of a team that are really out of form and playing badly. They’re creating so many chances. Manchester United, full credit to them. I’d give them more credit than I’d be critical of Liverpool, I thought they played pretty well there today."
"I’ve seen teams losing four games in a row before and you think ‘Wow, where is the next win going to come from? Confidence looks gone, they’re playing awful, they can’t score goals' - I don’t see that with Liverpool at the moment. Going away to Chelsea in the last game, lots of teams lose at Stamford Bridge, it was a 50-50 game. Today they played pretty well. They do look a little ragged at the back, certainly in the first half. But they’re going forward and creating chances."

Had it been ManChester United, it would have been a an entire week of talks here and there and lambasting everyone, from the manager to the players, plus the entire staff and even the owners.

One thing we should all agree on is that man-u is a big club. The current situation is just a passing cloud. Just like it's happening with the mighty Liverpool.
