Arsenal haven't been able to count on Mesut Ozil since October 5, with the German having been kept on the sidelines with a persistent back injury.
Unai Emery has stated that the player is working hard on his own to be able to return, but he has been accused by others of playing the videogame Fortnite too much and it has been suggested that the hours in front of a screen are hurting his back.
According to a report in the Daily Star, the Wasted on Fortnite website shows that Ozil has played 5,221 matches and this works out at an estimated five hours per day of videogame play.
German publication Bild have consulted a medical expert, who stated that this addiction could indeed be prolonging his back injury and delaying his return to action.

He is a crack in the handling of the ball but his lack of effort and attitude towards the big matches make him mediocre. Menudo leader is done that has not played for two months and Arsenal is in one of its best runs in years. It is also a coincidence that Madrid left in August 2013 and the championship streak begins in May 2014!
