PSG exit the race to sign Victor Osimhen as Napoli offer him to Chelsea

According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have exited the race to sign Napoli forward Victor Osimhen (25). Therefore, ending their pursuit of the Nigerian striker.

Terminating their interest in the 25-year-old, Les Parisiens have begun to focus on other targets in forward areas as they look to bolster their attacking options before the transfer window closes, Romano reports. PSG had agreed personal terms with the Napoli attacker but a deal between the two clubs proved difficult to materialise.

Despite the Ligue 1 champions ending their interest in Osimhen, Chelsea are still actively interested in signing the Nigerian international. The Premier League club have been offered the striker by Napoli as they look to step up their attempts to sign Romelu Lukaku before the end of the window, The Times report. Osimhen would be included in a potential deal which would sign the Belgian international reunited with Antonio Conte in Naples.
