PSG faces £20m budget deficit due to Champions League exit

After being eliminated from the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain faced an increase in the budget deficit of € 20 million, according to RMC Sport. As part of the 1/8 finals of the playoffs, they lost in two matches to Real Madrid.

The leadership of the Parisian club was counting on the passage in advance and had already painted its budget for the season. PSG could receive a €10.6 million bonus, additional income from TV rights, ticket sales and merchandise, as well as bonuses spelled out in sponsorship agreements. The total amount is estimated at €20 million.
