PSG weighing up last-gasp move for Harry Kane

Paris Saint-Germain are considering launching a last-gasp move to lure Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane (30) to the Parc des Princes, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

According to multiple sources, including The Telegraph and Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have set a deadline of today for Tottenham to respond to their new and improved bid for the England captain. Romano terms it as a “make or break” moment in the saga, whilst Kane himself has already given the green light for a move, according to the Italian journalist.

However, the Bavarian side aren’t the only interested party. For many months, PSG have had Kane at the top of their shopping list in their quest for a number nine. Les Parisiens’ move for Benfica’s Gonçalo Ramos (22) seemingly represented an acknowledgement of defeat in their attempts to sign Kane, and whilst the Ligue 1 champions acknowledge that Bayern Munich are still in pole position to sign the Englishman, they are willing to outbid the Bundesliga side in order to get a deal done. At this moment in time, PSG don’t have any agreement in place with Kane.
