The French government decided to ban sporting activities until September and, as a result, Ligue 1 clubs are expected lose several millions of euros from TV rights.
This measure will affect Paris Saint-Germain, who will have to negotiate a salary reduction for their employees.
The two media groups, Canal+ and beIN Sports, haven't paid their latest instalments, scheduled for April 5 and they are not expected to do so as the season will be cancelled in France.
Canal+ are due to pay 558 million euros (548m to Ligue 1 and 10m to Ligue 2) and beIN Sports 201 million euros (189m and 12m, respectively).
PSG have yet to reach an agreement for salary cuts with their players, some of whom have refused to lower their wages according to L'Equipe.
The club's salaries represent more than 50 percent of their budget, some 370 million euros out of 671 million euros.
A pact has to be reached with the players, as some of them, including Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe, are currently earning massive wages.

if they were actually worried about money, Neymar wouldn't have been at PSG in the first place
