Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored and was sent off as Arsenal played out a 1-1 Premier League draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Match Report
The Gabon international put Mikel Arteta's side ahead with a typically clinical finish early on before Jordan Ayew secured a point for Roy Hodgson's men nine minutes after the interval.
Palace might feel they should have gone on to seal all three points after a VAR review deemed Aubameyang's challenge on Max Meyer in the 67th minute worthy of a straight red card.
The result leaves Arsenal in 10th position, one point behind the Eagles and eight adrift of fourth-place Chelsea.
Arsenal started with a spring in their step and opened the scoring in the 12th minute, courtesy of a fine team goal.
The hosts started the second period with renewed verve and pulled level in the 54th minute when Ayew's effort took a wicked deflection off David Luiz and looped over Leno.
Match Events
7' CHANCE! Aubameyang's cross blocked
David Luiz sends Aubameyang over the top with a long ball. The Gabonese collects and runs into the box before feeding Kolasinac. However, the full-back sees his cross deflected back on to him and then behind for a goal-kick.
12' GOAL! Crystal Palace 0-1 Arsenal (Aubameyang)
The Gunners cut open the Palace defence and Aubameyang slots a low strike into the bottom-right corner to beat Guaita. Arsenal use the ball well in possession before Lacazette slides a throughball into the box for the run of his team-mate. Aubameyang takes a sublime first touch before burying his effort into the back of the net on his right foot.
41' CHANCE! Kouyate's shot denied by Leno
Kouyate seizes on a loose ball in the Arsenal box and turns to fire at goal from the left inside channel. Leno makes the stop, but palms it out back into the area. Fortunately for the Arsenal keeper, he is able to gather before a Palace player can react.
46' Sub! Guendouzi replaces Torreira
Torreira is replaced at the break by Guendouzi, which could be injury related.
54' GOAL! Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal (Jordan Ayew)
The home side are back in the game as Ayew's strike from the right inside channel takes a huge deflection off David Luiz and loops over Leno into the back of the net. Palace catch the Gunners out with a free-kick as Kelly releases Meyer in space down the right flank. He drills a low cross into the middle that Kouyate lays into the path of Ayew. He strikes with power and his effort diverts off the Arsenal defender to notch the equaliser.
67' Red Card! Aubameyang sent off
Aubemeyang is sent off for a tackle on Meyer. He sticks out a leg and catches Meyer on the ankle with his studs. He receives a yellow card initially from the referee, but VAR overturns the decision and turns it into a red card.
78' CLOSE! Sokratis makes goal-line clearance
Sokratis has to act at the back to clear Tomkins' header off the line as it loops towards the net. Zaha curls a dangerous cross towards the back post and Tomkins rises with Kolasinac to guide an effort towards the net. It beats Leno, but the defender is there to save the day before Maitland-Niles clears it behind for a corner.

Arsenal coach Arteta must bring in more good players and change the current rubbish may be next season and beyong because Arsenal can not continue with these rubbish players if we are to compete with other top teams. If not then Arsenal will be like the way it is the level of Crystal palace and midtable team just battling to avoid relegation.

David Luis is costing Arsenal honestly, ball position was fine till Terraira was substituted 2nd leg. But anyway big up to lads of Arsenal, Ozil plays another role that his not used to but lets hope the team's comes back strong. Auba was unfortunate to be booked with a red card which was unintentionally
