Juve are seeking to strike terms with Palace over a January deal for the France international.
Juve coach Luciano Spalletti has approved the move and transfer expert Nicolo Schira is reporting Mateta has accepted a four-year contract offer from the Bianconeri.
Juve are now in talks about a fee with Palace for the centre-forward.
Mateta's contract with Crystal Palace runs until the summer of 2027. This season he has scored eight goals in 21 appearances in the Premier League.
