Palhinha: My relationship with Tottenham is like a marriage, I really want to stay here

After the final Premier League match, Palhinha was interviewed by Football.London and spoke about his future.

Palhinha said: "I've always been open about my thoughts. Since I came here, I've felt at home. From the fans to the spectators, this is a top club. Who wouldn't want to play for Tottenham Hotspur and stay here?"

"I have everything here, but it's like a marriage. What I can tell you is that I really want to stay here. Even though this season has been difficult, I've really enjoyed my time with this club."

"I'm truly delighted. It's a very important day for the club, for everyone, and for all the fans. We are very satisfied with today's final result because our main goal was to ensure Tottenham Hotspur remains in the Premier League." 

"I hope next season will be completely different. I firmly believe in that. I think this season will greatly benefit Tottenham Hotspur's future. Analyzing this season, looking at what we didn't do well and what we did well, will be a big step forward. Let's wait and see."
