Thomas Partey spared little time in poking fun at one of Arsenal's main rivals after their 2-0 defeat to Newcastle on Sunday.
The Ghanaian midfielder sent a jibe that will surely endear him even further with the Gunners faithful, with Arsenal having reestablished their eight-point lead in the table the day before.
And while Arsenal are on a seven-game winning run in the league, United's third successive league game without victory has seen the Magpies leap-frog Erik ten Hag's side to take third place.
Partey was asked to send a message to Arsenal fans in a video posted by Ghanaian TV personality Nana Aba Anamoah during a meal together on Sunday.
But rather than a traditional greeting, the midfielder said: 'Join us in celebration of United's loss,' which left Anamoah stunned in response.
Since his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2020, Partey has become one of the most important players at the Emirates Stadium, and has formed a vital partnership in midfield with Granit Xhaka.
Though a holding midfielder by trade, Partey has contributed important goals to his side in games against Tottenham and Leicester, as well as in the Gunners' dramatic comeback win over Bournemouth.
United - the north London club's historic great rivals - suffered a 2-0 loss to the side they had beaten in the final of the Carabao Cup in February.
Goals from former Arsenal star Joe Willock and striker Callum Wilson earned Eddie Howe's side the crucial three points.
But it was a poor performance from United, who have looked a far cry from what they have shown themselves capable of at times this season in recent games.
And following the bitterly disappointing result, left-back Luke Shaw slammed his side's performance, claiming that the hosts won the game on 'passion, hunger, desire and attitude'.
'The players had a chat in the changing room after with no staff around because ultimately it's down to us as players on the pitch,' said the United defender.
'Like I said, it was nowhere near good enough and we had to speak out in front of each other and own up to it.
'I do think Newcastle are a very good side, but I don't think they won the game on quality today.
'I think they won it on passion, hunger, desire and attitude.
'They clearly had that higher motivation than us and that can't be possible. They wanted it more, and at Man United that cannot be possible.'

This just shows how classless the entire Arsenal is, suffering from UTD’s dominance and always looking fwd to UTD as a yardstick for success. A simple question; send a celebratory message to your fans for the last match victory, he brought Utd to the fray. OMG! This is so shameful.

I don't understand why some players mocked other team's loss when you still not win a trophy because nothing is guarantee yet and the big tasks will start this weekend till last
