Partey on visa rejection: Some things are uncontrollable, I'm ready to play England

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has responded for the first time to the rejection of his Canadian entry visa. He stated that some things are beyond a player's control, and he has now moved past the situation and is ready to play for the Ghana national team.

Previously, due to the rejection of his Canadian entry visa, Partey was unable to represent Ghana in the match against Panama. However, Ghana's upcoming match against England will be played in the United States, so the Atlético Madrid midfielder is now available for manager Queiroz's squad selection.

Speaking at the training base in the United States, Partey said: "I think this is part of football. Some things are not within our control. For me, everything is back to normal now, and I am ready to play."

Regarding reuniting with former Arsenal teammates such as Saka and Rice, Partey said: "I am very happy to see them again, and I hope they can perform at their best. We hope to have the opportunity to play against the best players and enjoy the competition. I know this match will not be easy—England has many excellent players—so I am very excited to play against them."
