Paulo Dybala could face shock Juventus exit to Real Madrid just after being named Serie A's MVP

Paulo Dybala could be sold by Juventus in a shock move that would change the course of the Serie A champions' transfer market.

The Argentinian forward, who won the Serie A MVP award this month, currently earns around £9million per year and a sale between £90m and £110m would allow the Old Lady to fund a new squad.

Juventus owner Andrea Agnelli does not want to dismantle the team but feels he may need to rejuvenate the squad following the arrival of new head coach Andrea Pirlo this summer.

And according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Dybala's farewell would be an easy solution to solve their economic woes and improve the Juventus squad.

However, Agnelli is anxious over losing his No 10 and weakening the Serie A champions, meaning a contract extension until 2025 is also a possibility.

Real Madrid could stump up the cash for the striker, which would test the Juventus owner's resolve.

The 26-year-old could be used to lead the Juventus squad for the 2020-21 season, which will have several young players including midfielders Arthur, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.

Meanwhile, defenders Luca Pellegrini, Matthijs De Ligt and Turkish defender Merih Demiral will help form a youthful back-line under Pirlo for the coming season.

Napoli have already bid for Demiral this summer but Juventus rejected their approach, as the Turkish centre-back will be a core member of the Juventus squad next summer.

Juventus sacked manager Maurizio Sarri earlier this month after the Italian coach only managed to lift the Scudetto this summer.

The Old Lady crashed out of the Champions League to French side Lyon at the last-16 stage, while Sarri's squad also lost the Italian Cup and Super Cup finals to Napoli and Lazio respectively.

Shortly after Sarri's sacking, Juventus swiftly moved to bring in Pirlo on a two-year deal.
