Speaking in an interview with Canal Football Club, France international defender and future Bayern Munich player Benjamin Pavard discussed the decision-making he employed behind his latest career move.
“I am feeling very good. I am only now realising that I am a world champion. I am dealing with that very well and staying who I am.”
On how crowds react when he receives the ball just outside the area
“I hope there will be another one (like his strike vs. Argentina),” says Pavard. “Each time that the ball comes, I can feel the supporters and it crosses my mind.”
“We cannot forget that I did not sign for Bayern because of this shot, but because I am one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga.”
