Andreas Pereira posted on social media a video which shows the stud marks caused by the thigh high challenge from Sergi Roberto in the Copa del Rey first leg clash between Barcelona and Valencia last Thursday.
According to Valencia medical staff, the player on loan from Manchester United, has muscle fibre damage and bruising to the thigh, and he is expected to be out of action for a month.
The Barcelona player apologised for the tackle and also responded to a message on social media.
