He later said: "I'd say it's on the podium of my most important goals, along with my first for Inter and my first for the national team.
"It's definitely the most important one, it brings three points, and I'm especially happy about that.
"There was so much anticipation, I was waiting for it and finally it arrived. And then the adrenaline of the celebration, an incredible thing that I've been waiting for since I've worn this shirt, since I was little."
He added, "The most important thing is Inter. I know very well what kind of players I'm playing against and that until a few months ago I was in Serie B. I think I'm getting even more playing time than I initially expected."
