Mauricio Pochettino will be banned from the touchline for Tottenham's games at Southampton and Liverpool and has been fined £10,000.
The FA said: 'Mauricio Pochettino has been fined £10,000 and will serve a two-match touchline ban following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.'
'The Tottenham Hotspur manager accepted an improper conduct charge from The FA, which resulted from his language and/or behaviour - both on the pitch and in or around the tunnel area - at the end of the game against Burnley on 23 February.'
Pochettino hoped his apology might help reduce any punishment but revealed after the 1-0 win in Dortmund that he was about to be hit with a ban.
'I am not going to talk because it easy to pay,' said the Spurs boss on Tuesday.
'You are going to see tomorrow why I am not going to talk. I am very disappointed, I don't think that is going to change but I don't care, we are going to be strong.
'If are not going to receive a help from our football people in our country only I can laugh. You are going to see tomorrow why I am not so happy with the people.'
Pochettino hit out at the Premier League fixture schedulers on the eve of the game in Germany and claimed his team were at a 'massive disadvantage' because Dortmund had 24 hours more to prepare for each leg.

Very unfair to ban pochettino. Why did they ban Klopp. Klopp has very bad behaviour and they slap him with a small fine. I really feel for pochettino, it's not fair at all Klopp should actually be banned for becoming a weather reporter
