There are plenty of factors as to why Manchester United are suffering such a horrendous run of form, but it can't be denied that they are in the midst of a big injury crisis.
United currently have 10 players out on the sidelines and here's when they're expected to be back:
Martial
The hamstring injury initially wasn't expected to rule him out for so long but he has now missed the last nine fixtures and United have suffered.
There is hope he will return after the international break but no guarantee as of yet.
What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "We've had Anthony out and I don't think he'll make [Sundays' game against Newcastle]."
What Anthony Martial said: "Working hard to come back stronger."
Expected return date: October 20.
Pogba
Pogba has had a stop-start season so far, with various niggling injuries keeping him out of various games.
After missing the clashes with Leicester and West Ham with an ankle injury he returned to face Rochdale and Arsenal but didn't travel to the Netherlands to face AZ because Solskjaer was worried about the state of the artificial pitch.
He was also not used against Newcastle due to further problems with his ankle and his influence in midfield has also been missed.
The Frenchman posted an update from Dubai showing he is working hard to come back.
What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "We've had Anthony out and I don't think he'll make [Sundays' game against Newcastle]."
Expected return date: October 20.
Lindelof
Lindelof has been the first choice partner for Harry Maguire and the pairing has shown promise, so no doubt Solskjaer will want him back as soon as possible - even if his replacement Axel Tuanzebe has also looked good.
Lindelof missed the defeat to Newcastle with a back injury but is hopeful of a swift recovery so he can take part in Sweden's EURO 2020 qualifiers.
What Victor Lindelof said: "I haven't been able to train or take part in the last club game, so that's it, but it gets better and better every day."
Expected return date: October 20.
Wan-Bissaka
United's new full-back has been one of the brightest sparks in the season so far but has missed the last three fixtures due to suffering from a bout of tonsillitis.
His absence has been keenly felt in defence but it's hoped he will be healthy again after the international break.
Expected return date: October 20.
Lingard
Lingard has come in for a lot of stick in recent weeks but he still a useful option to have in the United attack, especially considering the lack of other options.
Lingard pulled his hamstring after coming on as a substitute against Alkmaar and had to be removed despite United having no substitutes left.
He missed the trip to Tyneside but will likely be fit for the visit of Liverpool.
What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "I think he felt his hamstring a little bit, I don't think it's too bad. Probably not Newcastle, but he'll be ready for Liverpool."
Expected return date: October 20.
Greenwood
Promising striker Greenwood has to withdraw from the England U21 squad this week due to suffering a back injury.
United confirmed the 18-year-old will now remain at Carrington to receive treatment ahead of the Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Expected return date: October 20.
Phil Jones
Jones has not played since the Carabao Cup game against Rochdale, where he was substituted at half-time, due to an unspecified injury. Solskjaer said prior to the Arsenal game that Jones would not be back until after the international break but did not put a time frame on the defender's return.
Possible return date: Unknown
Dalot
Portuguese youngster Dalot has seen his match time limited so far this season due to a hip problem and when he got his Premier League opportunity, against Newcastle, he was withdrawn with another injury.
It's not yet been confirmed the extent of the injury or when he is expected to be back.
Possible return date: Unknown
Timothy Fosu-Mensah
Forgotten man Fosu-Mansah is still recovering from a serious knee injury he suffered while on loan at Fulham last season.
Now in to the last year of his contract it appears unlikely he will feature for the club again.
Possible return date: Unknown

Hope fosu mensah return on oct 20 and lingard after december... Fosu is better then lingard plus fosu is a utility player as he can play as cdm, cm, cb and rb... And will be a useful cover for our lack in depth in midfield... And that guy is quality... Even sane think he is difficult to play against
