Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United's Paul Pogba, Liverpool's Roberto Firmino, Chelsea's Eden Hazard & Atalanta's Josip Ilicic are the five nominees for our All Football Player of the Week, four of them included in our All Football Team of the Week.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus)

Fresh from Cristiano Ronaldo crucial equaliser against Atalanta and brace against Sampdoria, Juventus star took his tally for the season to 14 strikes in Serie A, a little more than a month away from his 34th birthday, he looks as decisive as ever.

Cristiano Ronaldo came off the bench to rescue a point for 10-man Juventus as they drew 2-2 with Atalanta to preserve their unbeaten run in Serie A.

Three days later, his double saw Bianconeri edge past Sampdoria and finish the first half of the season unbeaten as he capped 2019 with 49 goals.

By the way, Cristiano Ronaldo is still Real Madrid's top scorer in 2018, despite leaving six months ago.

Paul Pogba (Manchester United)

Pogba has been transformed since Mourinho departed United. His talent was never in doubt, but once again he appears to be making every attempt to control the midfield, something he rarely seemed capable of before the change in manager. Now caption this!!

Pogba scored twice and gave Manchester United a win over Huddersfield Town, his goals were expertly taken, but his all-round impact was best summed up when he won back possession near his own penalty area.

The World Cup winner were the stars of the show once again as they led the way in Manchester United's 4-1 win over Bournemouth, securing Solskjaer a third successive win since taking charge.

Paul Pogba is the 1st Manchester United player to score at least twice in consecutive Premier League appearances since Wayne Rooney in 2012. Caption this!

Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)

Roberto Firmino was at his ruthless best as he scored his first Premier League hat-trick to inspire a 5-1 demolition of Arsenal at Anfield and put Liverpool nine points clear at the summit.

All three of Liverpool's frontline deserve this position, but Firmino was the standout for his link-up play, clever off-the-ball movement and three goals – the second of which being brilliant. A flawless display.

Roberto Firmino also became the highest scoring Brazilian in Premier League history with 42 goals, overtaking former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.

Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Eden Hazard's two goals saw Chelsea leave Watford with all three points, The Belgium star is the tenth player in Blues' history to score 100 goals for the club.

The 27-year-old has now created 100 goalscoring chances in the Premier League this season, which 22 more than any other player.

Hazard might not always like playing the central attacking role, but Hazard is the reason Chelsea won games. There are few more decisive players in England.

Josip Ilicic (Atalanta)

Josip Ilicic knows how to finish the year! He came off the bench to score a hat-trick in 16 minutes to help Atalanta grab a 6-2 win over Sassuolo.

The Slovenian is the first Serie A player to score a hat-trick off the bench since 2011.

Josip Ilicic is the player with the most hat tricks in Europe's top five leagues in 2018, along with Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero, with three. He doesn't score often, but when he does, it's a hat-trick.
