Manchester United booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-final with a comfortable 2-0 win over Chelsea.
The Red Devils unbeaten run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was ended by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week, but they produced the perfect response in west London.
Led by a man of the match display from Paul Pogba, United saw off the home side's early threat and took charge with two goals before half-time.
Pogba's teasing delivery was headed home by Ander Herrera to open the scoring, before the Frenchman himself powered home the second.
Chelsea again flattered to deceive under Maurizio Sarri and exit the competition with little more than a whimper, as United won at Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2012.
Here are five talking points from the fifth round clash...
1. Solskjaer's tactics spot on once more
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had no problem with switching up his tactics at the top end of the field, swapping between a 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3 formations.
Without Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard, who has thrived as the No.10 in the former, Solskjaer elected to start a front trio of Romelu Lukaku, Rashford and Juan Mata (rather than Alexis Sanchez), the make up of which saw the Spaniard operate off the front with the other pair splitting either side of Chelsea's centre-backs.
It worked a treat. Similar to United's win over Arsenal in the previous round, the two front men thrived in the spaces left by the opposing full-backs, while Mata stopped Jorginho having an effect at all on proceedings.
Solskjaer wanted his side to bounce back after the loss to PSG. They did precisely that and his decisions pre-match - in terms of formation and personnel - were a big reason why.
2. The £71million Kepa
Kepa hasn't been bad this season.
But when Chelsea look back at the £71million release fee they paid Athletic Bilbao to sign the Basque stopper last summer, do they perhaps regret it now.
Because you look at a keeper like Alisson, who has thrived at Liverpool after they spent big to land the Brazilian, and he seems to have been emboldened by living up to that fee.
Conversely, Kepa appears weighed down by his price tag, and quite simply, there will be more questions after the two goals.
Time is on his side to prove himself an astute purchase in the long term, but there needs to be improvement.
3. Familiarity breeds contempt
How to be a coach like Sarri? Just make use of Barkley-Kovacic bilateral substitutions.
Vs. United: Barkley for Kovacic 71'
Vs Man City: Kovacic for Barkley 58'
Vs Tottenham : Barkley for Kovacic 81'
Vs Arsenal: Kovacic for Barkley 63'
Vs Newcastle : Kovacic for Barkley 63'
Vs Tottenham: Barkley for Kovacic 75'
Vs Crystal Palace : Barkley for Kovacic 88'
Vs Watford : Kovacic for Barkley 80'
4. Pogba's redemption
Against PSG, Pogba had been desperate to do well.
But after a night where Marquinhos wouldn't leave him alone, where United were frustrated by the French champions and some rather excellent tactical work from Thomas Tuchel, Pogba was sent off, having made little impression.
He more than made up for that here, front and centre in the game's two most telling moments.
First, his devilish cross for Herrera's opener, whipping into the back post from wide on the left and giving the Spaniard an easy finish.
Secondly, his own header to double United's advantage, having made a 40 yard run to get onto Rashford's cross - having set the England striker free himself.
It was another terrific, match-winning display from the World Cup winner.
5. "F*** Sarri ball"
After the 6-0 thrashing by Manchester City, Sarri's position was best described as perilous.
With home fans chanting "you're getting sacked in the morning" to the Italian, and booing his final substitution - Davide Zappacosta replacing Cesar Azpilicueta - you have to think he's not got long left at all.
Plan A didn't work out. Plan B simply wasn't forthcoming again either.

Football fans of the modern era are so stupid. Kepa hasn't even seen out the season and has a better defence in front of him than one that allowed the other teams enough space to score 12 goals in 3 games. Granted Kepa has been at fault for 2/12 goals, that's still only 2 and the guy is only 23. You guys are acting as if hes like 28 and been in the top flight for like 10 years. De Gea had a similarly bad season when he first came to United. He is now the joint best keeper in the world.... cut the kid some slack, when the defence is on point he makes some great saves but if the defence let the opposition forward easily walk into the box how can you expect a keeper to save a point blank range shot? And 71 million for a keeper that's believed to have the potential to be one of the best on a 7 year deal is insane, especially in a market where keeper value has gone up with Oblak at 90 million etc. In response to the other points 1. Ole did outdo Sarri but with repetitive tactics and line ups and no flexibility that's bound to happen.... 2. Fk Sarriball was chanted in response to point 1 cos he turned out to be a 1 trick pony. 3. Pogba never needed redemption cos even in the PSG game first half he was doing a lot but PSG were smart enough to out a marker on him to eliminate his presence, something even I could have told the team to do which makes me question Sarri a lot, especially after seeing the blueprint to beating United. 4. Sarri is indeed tactically inept, tactically inflexible, inferior tactically to other BPL managers some even outside the top 6. He brings a good concept but his football cant be played without rotation but currently hes not rotating at all, instead opting to play the same players every time...
