Liverpool ran riot in Porto as they won their Champions League quarter-final 6-1 on aggregate to set up a clash with Barcelona.
Match Report
Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scored for the second game running as Liverpool cruised to a 4-1 victory over Porto, sealing a 6-1 aggregate win to set up a tantalising Champions League semi-final clash with Barcelona.
The Reds' romp began when Mane struck after 26 minutes of the quarter-final second leg at Estadio do Dragao, VAR ruling the Senegal international onside after Salah played him in.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will have been delighted with the way his back four dealt with Porto's attack as they tried in vain to turn the tie on its head.
Sergio Conceicao's men created enough chances to have levelled matters before Mane's strike but thereafter their attacking waves crashed harmlessly against Liverpool's defensive rocks, with Virgil van Dijk imperious.

This is when barca weaknesses will be exposed to the world. I am an ardent barca fan but am not happy with the poor fixturing and changes from this casual coach. If by mistake that he fixtures Roberto in a half back position, Liverpool will score up to four goals in the first half. Then he should also know that this is not time for tikitaka method of football. It is time to fire shots at the slightest opportunity. Barca technical crew wake up. It is not time to wait for Messi alone to score. Don't use Busquet and Rakiti together in Liverpool matches. They are too dull at the midfield.

Now I understand how Mr Williams felt when her daughters, Venus and Serena met in the final. I love both Liverpool and Barcelona, they are my favourite teams. Now when they have to face each other like this, it really leaves me torn apart. It would have been nicer for me if they met in the final.

Bravo Liverpool, it's been quite a while since our Front 3 all on target in a game, with Van Dijk header puts the icing on the cake. Barcelona, here we comes. YNWA

Name 3 better trios than; Mo Salah, Mane and Bobby Firmino I'll wait. Last season they both finished the UCL with 10 goals among the trio and now they r also doing the same.
In this season itself Messi has 10 goals. So why boasting about trio? Lol
