During Portugal's away UEFA Nations League match against Denmark, some Portuguese fans in the stands displayed a message of support for coach Jorge Jesus. Other fans also showed their support for Ronaldo.
A group of fans wore shirts bearing individual letters and stood side-by-side to spell out "LOVE U JESUS". Surrounding Portuguese fans waved national flags and held up scarves while cheering on the team.
Other fans at the venue also displayed their support for Ronaldo. Supporters hold differing opinions regarding the recent controversy between Ronaldo and Jesus.
Before the match against Denmark, Jesus was interviewed by RTP. When asked about the recent controversy, Jesus said: "Today is a match day, and I want to focus on the game." He added that there would be time to discuss the matter later and that the topic would be set aside for now.
