Liverpool will be aiming to bounce back from two straight Premier League defeats when they visit Tottenham on Sunday.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is back in selection contention for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham, but James Milner has been added to the Reds’ injury list after suffering concussion against Napoli in midweek.
Henderson absent from Liverpool’s Napoli win
Henderson sat out Tuesday’s Champions League win over the Italians with a minor injury, but Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp told reporters on Saturday: “He trained yesterday completely normal so should be fine.”
Milner was substituted against Napoli after sustaining a head injury, and is unavailable to face Spurs after being placed in concussion protocol.
“When you go through a concussion protocol you are not available for the next game because you have to go through different stages,” Klopp said. “So, he is fine but still that’s how it is [and] rightly so.”
Naby Keïta, Joel Matip, Luis Díaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo all remain out injured.
Having started as a substitute on Tuesday, Darwin Núñez seems likely to return to the Liverpool attack in place of Curtis Jones.
Possible Liverpool lineup vs Tottenham:
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konaté, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Firmino, Núñez.

Visitors desperate for Premier League win
Liverpool may have breezed through the Champions League group stage, putting together five straight wins to qualify for the last 16 with a game to spare, but in the Premier League it’s been a rather less successful season so far.
After back-to-back defeats in the top flight, Klopp’s men head to North London languishing in mid-table, eight points adrift of the final Champions League place.
And Liverpool’s away form doesn’t bode well: they haven’t won any of their five league games on the road this term. The Merseysiders’ last away victory in the league was their 2-1 triumph at Southampton in May.
