Premier League clubs can start splashing the cash on new stars from next week, with the top-flight transfer window set to open a month earlier than usual.
Press Association Sport understands officials have opted to pull the opening back to next Thursday in order to comply with a FIFA rule which requires at least one window to open for 12 weeks.
The Premier League had already announced that they would close the window on August 9, prior to the start of next season, in order to avoid disruption once the campaign is under way.
The Football League, whose window for permanent signings has already reopened, have also confirmed they will comply with the August 9 pre-season deadline.
Fourteen of last season's 20 top-flight clubs voted in favour of an earlier deadline last November, after the campaign started with uncertainty over the likes of Jamie Vardy and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The move was welcomed by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, who had said: 'As as a football man, as somebody who wants to work with the team, work with players - I would prefer the window to close as soon as possible.'

It is because there was a new rule made earlier in the season that the transfer window for this summer in PL will close before the PL begins So the transfer window is open from next week so clubs can do their business early before August begins
Thanks for informing

who wants to bet man united only goan add two more players to their squad who wants to bet , I bet some y'all didnt notice that maurinho played Ashley young on the attacking against Brighton the reason he did that is because if martial should leave young will be the one to replace martial and with the arrival of Alex Sandro together with Luke shaw its a stunner and the three men midfield matic , pogba and savic I know some of y'all are not seeing the type of plan maurinho has but the way am seeing it united are going to be really strong by next season

In the end the decision is taken by the player of course. That's why I'm referring to Neymars case, to give example of someone who generates conflict of interest between some European teams in order to find the one that gives him the biggest salary.
Well I agree, but that has no reference or significance to the EPL transfer window opening a month early.

The example you give is ENTIRELY of Neymars OWN doing! He is playing off the big clubs to get the biggest salary! Its HIM who is creating his own distraction!

There is conflict of interest because some players are coveted by more than 1 team and sometimes the players themselves drag the deal around so as not to close all their opportunities. Take Neymar for example, since PSG lost the UCL he was named as a target by both Real and Man U and only now, almost two months later finally declares that he will stay at PSG. And yet he still might change his mind.

So in other words, they want their teams fresh for the starting of PL while putting the players through great pressure and stress in World Cup. I don't like this rule.

How would there be a conflict of interests? All deals are more or less done prior to opening of transfer windows anyway (not all granted). The opening of the window just means clubs can make the signing 'official' and physically have his future sorted out BEFORE the world cup, makes sense to me.

Conflict of interest I mean in the part of the country coaches whom their players would be distracted and traveling to do physical and other stuffs
Maybe but I think if any deals are done straight away then they have been more or less done anyway...so just the 'official signing' doesn't really take anything out of a player to do that. And in fact I think it gives them more freedom at the WC knowing their future is sorted. Any other deals will just be officially signed after the WC so it won't interfere with their preperation anyway. I don't see any negatives to it tbh

This will make things difficult for both players and clubs. Most players want to concentrate on the World Cup. There will be conflict of interest definitely
