THE Premier League’s perennial bridesmaids will have another crack at finally walking down the aisle themselves.
Surely this is Arsenal’s time, in their 100th consecutive top-flight season?
A fourth year on the spin of finishing runners-up would likely push the fanbase over the edge... and pile the pressure on boss Mikel Arteta.
December 19, 2025 will mark six years since the Spaniard took over and the progress is there for all to see.
But is that enough?
Trophies maketh the manager and Arteta believes their time is coming.
They are not at a win-or-bust situation just yet but they are getting close to it.
A horror opening run of fixtures will not help — they play Manchester United, Liverpool, Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle in the first six games.
But there is added quality and depth with six new faces — with the hope Arteta has finally found a No 9 in Viktor Gyokeres.
Even so, the proof is in the pudding and nothing tastes sweeter than silverware.
DREAM TEAM HERO: Declan Rice, midfielder, £5m
Bukayo Saka is normally the go-to guy at the Gunners but Rice produced nine goals and ten assists overall last season.
He also created 58 chances in the Prem, two more than his England pal Saka.
Two huge games against Real Madrid last season earned him legendary status at the Emirates and contributed to a 295-point haul.
FAMOUS FAN
It's a little harsh to suggest Rihanna found love in a hopeless place but she did rock up at the Emirates in 2018, the year the Gunners finished sixth.
At least she saw them beat Everton 5-1.

Arsenal should at least target one side triphy other than the Title. At least target the fav. trophy FA cup or maybe atleast the league cup other would call it Carabao.

I don't see these set of arsenal players able to win the EPL unless if we see a weaker Liverpool and Man City this season. Arsenal has repeatedly failed to sign a prolific striker and left winger that can sync into their current great mid fielders and right winger.
when I saw your name Johnbull I become speechless

I think still something is missing. We missed Nico Williams, that gap should be filled with Eze to make a complete team

Even when Man city and Liverpool strengthened, we came 2nd thrice,...This is our season, our season and our time, we may not have the best in terms of quality compared to them but of cause, Leicester never had the best quality back then in 2016, so we needed cool heads in big games and we've gotten them,....One still yet to come (A Left-Winger), then we'll see

If Arsenal don't add more quality to their squad there's no way they can win the league in the soon to commence season. Berta has done some decent business, but that's not enough given what Liverpool have done and are still doing. It's disturbing that Arsenal haven't made any substantial sells yet and the season is just a couple of weeks to go. One would expect Arsenal to be serious about getting in Rodrygo even if it's on a season long loan, but they're not. Even the Eze talk appears to be under threat with Spurs rearing their ugly head. I'm not sure Arsenal are ambitious enough to challenge for the EPL title. It makes me feel like Arsenal are too comfortable with UCL football and that's frustrating in the perspective of Arsenal fans.

Lowacdior you are a very funny man… Europe’s top flight goal cohesion VG9 was only second to Mbape who overtook him on the last day of Laliga ( VG9 even scored more goals than him last season, just that lalliga has 2.0 goal cohesion compared to Portuguese league 1.5 goal cohesion)

Are you sure you know what you are saying… Even your Barcelona don’t have a more better No9 than Arsenal right now

Is Gyokeres not prolific enough?
Viktor Gyökeres played for Sporting CP a Portuguese league before Arsenal sign up. EPL is not Portuguese League. Until he can prove he can perform at a competitive level you can't call him a prolific striker.

Hmmm 🤔👀,how possible is that 😤? With Chelsea now on Fire ,Man City on revenge mission to reclaim their Title and Liverpool on strong pole to defend their title,i see Arsenal not coming closer becoming a bride.

I see a prospect in the fixture. Though tough start I a 2026 unbeaten run that can lead to Arsenal winning the title. In fact, I see the unbeaten run starting from December
