PSG president Al-Khelaifi sent Kolo Muani to Spurs after Comolli antics

L'Equipe says the bitter relationship between the pair ultimately saw Randal Kolo Muani move to Tottenham rather than return to Juve before the market closed on Monday night.

Juventus' offer seemed almost a sure thing - a €30m loan with additional bonuses tied to Champions League qualification. This type of offer would have allowed the Bianconeri to consolidate their squad with one of Europe's most promising strikers, without completely emptying their coffers.

Everything was headed toward a quick conclusion, but negotiations became complicated at the last minute.

Comolli once again changed his offer just as the deal was about to be finalised, a move that wasn't welcomed by PSG, and especially by club president Al-Khelaïfi.

As such, Kolo Muani was sent to Tottenham, despite spending over six months on-loan with Juve last season and at the Club World Cup.
