Ramos surprised his followers on social media by posting an image in which his many tattoos are missing from his back and arms.

Ramos took to Instagram and Twitter on Tuesday to publish a photo in which his normally heavily-tattooed back and arms have been photoshopped to 'rub out' the many messages and images he has had inked on over the years.

The post, which is accompanied by the hashtag "#CleanSheet", is thought to be part of the player's efforts to promote his new documentary, The Heart of Sergio Ramos, which was released on the online streaming platform Amazon Prime in September.
