Sergio Ramos will make his PSG bow after the next international break, reports claim, with the Spanish defender now back in training having recovered from a persistent calf injury.

The legendary Spanish defender joined the Parisians on a free transfer this summer but is yet to feature as he continues his rehabilitation - but is set to finally feature against Angers on October 15, according to AS.

Ramos is considered as one of the best defenders of his generation after picking up an array of trophies during his 16-year spell at the Bernabeu, and will now be looking to secure even more success as he prepares to line up against fellow superstar Lionel Messi.

The 35-year-old will hope he can shake off the rust - the last time he played a competitive game was March 31 in Spain's win over Kosovo.

He has been seen on the PSG training ground, pictured holding a conversation with PSG chief Leonardo and president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

There is a lot of pressure on PSG to succeed this season after Ramos joined an all-star cast including Messi, midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and full back Achraf Hakimi.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have won all eight of their games so far and took one step towards their dream of winning the Champions League by beating last year's finalists Manchester City.

That game saw Lionel Messi finally break his duck for his new club since his stunning free transfer switch from Barcelona as he found the net in a 2-0 win.

Ramos will likely line up alongside Brazilian defender Marquinhos in his new chapter after making 671 appearances for Los Blancos, which saw him win La Liga five times and the Champions League four times.

PSG will hope to use his winning mentality and his goal threat too. Despite being a defender, he netted 101 times for Real Madrid.
