For just over a decade now, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have absolutely dominated the footballing landscape.
The pair have broken almost every record there is to break and have won almost all there is to win, both individually and with their teams, producing some of the best football ever seen.
Their rivalry has been a joy to watch for fans of the beautiful game, and was made all the more dramatic as they battled it out whilst playing for their club sides Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The ex-Real Madrid captain enjoyed some extremely successful years in the Spanish capital alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and will now play the next two seasons with Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.
