Eight clubs are set to be left disappointed by Marcus Rashford's impending departure from Manchester United.
Rashford, 27, is in talks to join Italian giants AC Milan, with the deal likely to be an initial loan move. The forward's representatives flew out to Italy earlier this week and talks have progressed well.
United boss Ruben Amorim left Rashford out of his matchday squad for four consecutive games last month, with the England international confirming during that time he's ready for a 'new challenge'. The Red Devils have been happy to facilitate his exit, as they need to outgoings to fund new signings.
In joining Milan, Rashford would reunite with former United team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who now has an executive role at the San Siro. The Rossoneri also have three players Rashford who got to know as part of England squads; Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori.
But not everyone will be pleased with the decision made by Rashford, who firstly rejected three lucrative offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia. Premier League sides Tottenham and West Ham were both said to be interested, as were German giants Borussia Dortmund.
Also in Italy, Juventus and newly-promoted Como were among the teams to be linked. Rashford was briefly tipped to join Barcelona, but the La Liga giants' financial woes meant a deal wasn't feasible.
United will be happy if the agreement with Milan is finalised quickly, giving them time to deal with other matters in the January transfer window. The Red Devils, however, were hoping for a permanent deal and value Rashford, who earns £325,000 per week, at a cool £40million.
The 27-year-old revealed his plans to leave in an interview last month, saying. "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps."
"When I leave it's going to be, 'no hard feelings'. You're not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person. If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse.
"I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."

Rashford is not even a bad player the spot lights in Man U is too much and Man U has been built on individual players reason why he’s also been targeted because the whole team is playing poorly now and no body to rescue them so the attention will surely be on him and others as well

Have you been reading my mind mate?. That’s my dream first eleven 😄 It could be possible, I don’t think Dimarco would be possible tho, but Victor and Kvicha could be a possibility.
