According to sports correspondent Simon Stone's report, Manchester United is determined to make Casemiro's departure into action.
Sir Ratcliffe is astonished by hearing Casemiro's £18.2 million annual salary. He is determined to cut down the club's expense and decided not to extend Casemiro's contract.
The 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder announced his departure in January that he will leave the Red Devils as free agent after the contract ends.
Casemiro activley proposed to expose his departure news to the public, in case there would be any misunderstanding by the end of the season.
The Brazilian performed outstandingly well in recent matches: scored an important header against Villa, the 7th goal, and the 6th header.
He pointed at the club's team emblem during celebration after his goal in front of the Stretford Stand. The fans chanted:"Casemiro, stay for another year!"
Captain Bruno Fernandes and Yoro both stated at the player tunnel that they want Casemiro to stay.
However, according to Michael Carrick and BBC Sports' inference, the decision will not be reversed.
"Once the decision is made, it'll be simple. Everyone knows the situation", Carrick says.
"He brings great influence, no matter within the team, or his performance on the pitch."
"He will enjoy the moment after the match with the fans."

Lets be real every player was underperfoming back then because of coach tactics not only casemiro!! It was easy by that time to let players leave the club but now we can see some potentials in each player thats why we need case to stay!

This could become a case of being penny-wise and pound-foolish. With new incoming signings, Man Utd are expected to challenge on all 4 fronts. They'll need to heavily rotate the squad to achieve that run. They're simply in no position to get 4-5 midfielders at a time when Mainoo seems like the only midfielder surviving this season. And the one thing they cannot buy is the experience, wisdom and togetherness Case brings to the team. A player like him will most likely be the difference at the business end of the season. The difference between Man Utd playing a cup final or losing in the semis, the difference between a Top 4 finish OR one or two places below. They should proactively extend it for 1 more season, and then let him go when the new midfielders would've gelled with the team by the end of next season.
