Wolves star Raul Jimenez says rumours linking him with Manchester United and Liverpool are inspiring him to keep getting better as he targets a move to a top club.
Jimenez is being tracked by top clubs across Europe after scoring 22 goals in all competitions this season, also adding 10 assists.
The Mexico striker said it was "incredible" to be linked with some of the Premier League's biggest clubs, as well as the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.
And he said the transfer talk is giving him plenty of motivation, hinting that he wanted to make the rumours a reality.
“It’s something very cool," the 29-year-old told Bolavip.
"I don’t know if they are true, they are rumours. Since they are talking about me, different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool… They are teams that in the history of football are important.
Jimenez, who has scored 23 goals in 82 appearances for his country, added: "It’s an incredible thing to be on the radar, and on the lips of those teams.
"It’s something good to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, give even more to achieve it.”
Jimenez is not the only Wolves player to have been linked with a move to one of the Premier League's big boys, with teammate Adama Traore believed to be on Liverpool's radar.
And Wolves will have to gatecrash the Champions League if they are going to satisfy the ambitions of their top players, according to their former goalkeeper Matt Murray.
However, Murray added that the financial impact of coronavirus could buy Wolves some time, with clubs expected to be reluctant to stump up big fees this summer.
“I believe these players are good enough for the Champions League, so if they don’t get there, that would be a concern," Murray told Sky Sports.
“But also with the coronavirus, I think Wolves can keep them for another year because clubs won’t be able to pay those fees.
“But sooner or later, Wolves will have to get into the Champions League to match those players’ ambitions.”
Wolves are currently seventh in the Premier League - five points behind the top four - as they prepare to resume their campaign away to West Ham on Saturday.

29 years not Good for building the team unless it's an emergency crisis which I don't think it is and better we keep Orig since he's Young and has potential player. Liverpool needs young lads to challenge MANE, Salah and Fermino. back up cb Van dijk and midfield.

Ole don't need a old fashion centre forward like him, don't get me wrong I'm not saying he isn't good but ole doesn't want a old fashion cf it doesn't fit into his philosophy that's all.
