Cadena SER says Real management have made the Portugal international their No1 target should they be forced to sell Vinicius Junior at the end of the season.
Talks over a new deal with Vini Jr have stalled, with Real management growing concerned as the Brazilian is about to enter the final 18 months of his contract.
Should the stand-off continue, Real will transfer-list Vinicius Junior at the end of the season at a starting price of €100m.
Real will use the cash raised to fund a move for Vitinha, with Como midfielder - and former Real Madrid starlet - Nico Paz also on their shopping list.
