our midfield still quite fine, even bit bloated as long Real can play direct or using wider and more backward playmaker ( Trent and Dean or Careras) we need more 'the sharp tip of the spear' or number 9 while somehow Vini and Kylian stay wide in different side of the field. Wasnt Gareth a LB that ended in RW and Cristiano RMF then RW to LW (before CF)? the midfielders will be the second line on both attack and defence, not bridging but extra ram and shield. I hope the next season will increase contribution of Endrik or Gonzalo, like Vini was worse when filling Eden'd role until grown so much contributing 2 ucl. . .
