The European champions have signed up to wear the Parley Ocean Plastic shirts this season after trialling the idea last year in a Liga game.
Real Madrid unveiled their third strip for the 2018-19 season on Monday, the result of a partnership between kit suppliers Adidas and Parley for the Oceans, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness about plastic pollution in the world’s seas.
The shirt will be of a coral colour and made entirely of Parley Ocean Plastic, a composite of recycled materials.
Marcelo, Nacho, Lucas Vázquez and Karim Benzema were selected to model the new strip, which had a test run last season when Real used Parley Ocean Plastic shirts during a game against Sporting Gijon on November 26.
Real are the latest side to adopt sustainable shirts for their kit as the movement to raise awareness of the issues facing marine life gather pace. Last season Barcelona also used a recycled shirt and Bayern Munich sported an Adidas-Parley kit during a game against Hoffenheim last November.

This is great that Bayern, Real and Barça (3 of the world's best clubs) were and will be made to wear those. Awareness should be raised. And one of the best ways is by football.

Madrid was invisible before without that kit, just imagine them now wearing jerseys made from mermaid utensils and bottles? of side goals and penalties mode activated.
