Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon has jumped on the 'How it started... how it's going' social media trend to post a terrific throwback picture alongside Gareth Bale at Real Madrid.
The craze involves people sharing photos from their youth alongside more recent pictures, and the new £30million signing shared a tweet in which he is seen in a photo as a youngster sporting a Real Madrid jacket with his now team-mate.
The second photo then shows the duo emerging from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tunnel as they were unveiled as new members of Jose Mourinho's Spurs squad last month after they both decided to leave the Spanish capital.
Reports have claimed Reguilon once regarded his now Welsh team-mate as his idol, but now the duo will be looking to make memories on the pitch with Spurs, with Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett having tipped Spurs to battle for this season's Premier League title.
The north London side were left fretting after Reguilon picked up a knock in Spain's draw with Portugal in a friendly earlier in the week, but reports suggest it was only minor.
He was nevertheless not risked by Luis Enrique in their 1-0 win against Switzerland in the Nations League tie on Saturday in Madrid, but could be involved on Tuesday night in Turkey.
Tottenham fans appear to have taken to the 23-year-old Spaniard following his displays against Chelsea in the League Cup before their 6-1 drubbing of Manchester United in the final Premier League fixture before the current international hiatus.
But supporters need no introduction to Bale, and during the current break, the 31-year-old Wales star has begun training for the first time since picking up a knee injury on international duty last month.
He is therefore yet to make his second Spurs debut after re-joining the club from Real Madrid on a season-long loan deal in September, seven years after he departed north London for Madrid.
The winger began individual training more than a week ago and then came through a full session led by Mourinho on Wednesday unscathed in what will prove to be a huge boost for the Portuguese boss.
Bale was therefore not called up to Ryan Giggs' Wales squad for their friendly defeat to England on Thursday nor for their 0-0 draw with Ireland in the Nations League ahead of facing Bulgaria on Wednesday.
