According to the latest report from Sport, Boateng visited the Camp Nou training complex once more yesterday and watched the youth team's match in person.

It is reported that Jérôme Boateng visited Barcelona's Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper yesterday, continuing his educational journey with the club. Having recently integrated into the organisation as an observer, he attended the Barcelona youth team's match against Espanyol alongside youth coordinator Sergi Míral.

The focus of this visit is to gain first-hand insight into the club's youth development system and its daily operations. It is understood he has been granted permission to remain at the club for approximately ten days, during which he aims to prepare for his future coaching career through learning and experience-building.

His primary plan involves spending time with Flick and his team, with whom he maintains a very close relationship dating back to his Bayern Munich days. Whilst the coaching staff focus on match preparations, Boateng is using this period to familiarise himself with other areas within Barça's internal workings, which are integral to the club's overall operations.

For the first half of the match, the club provided him with a dedicated viewing area to observe tactical aspects from an advantageous vantage point. For the remainder of the fixture, he watched from behind the home goal alongside La Masia coordinators.

Having obtained his B coaching licence since retiring in September, Boateng has undertaken multiple study trips to complete his training before January. At Barcelona, he observes the professional squad's daily training sessions, working methods and internal structure, while also focusing on the youth academy system.
