According to Liverpool correspondent Lewis Steele of the Daily Mail, Liverpool have lodged a formal complaint with the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) over Virgil van Dijk's disallowed goal.
In the match against Manchester City, Virgil van Dijk headed home a goal late in the first half that would have levelled the score for Liverpool, only for it to be ruled out due to Andrew Robertson being in an offside position.
Reporter Lewis Steele reports that Liverpool have today contacted the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) to lodge a formal challenge against the disallowed goal involving Van Dijk against Manchester City.
It is understood Liverpool maintain that Law 11 (the offside rule) is based on specific criteria, which Robertson did not meet in this instance.

If that goal was allowed, Liverpool would have had more confidence to fight, the goal disorganized them, there's something about goal and the one that comes to level up the scoring line. The ref was just biased. POV: I'm not a Liverpool fan but a Chelsea fan
