Reporter: Chelsea nearing lacroix signing for over £55m

According to joint reports from journalists Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs, Chelsea are close to signing Lacroix for a transfer fee exceeding £55 million.

The report states that Crystal Palace chairman Parish personally negotiated this deal, which is nearing completion, and Chelsea will sign Crystal Palace center-back Lacroix.

The report indicates that the total transfer fee will exceed £55 million; previous reports suggested Crystal Palace valued Lacroix at £60 million.

It is understood that Chelsea has offered Crystal Palace the opportunity to sign a series of players, including Disasi.
