Reporter: Salah's agent is in joint negotiations with Al-Ittihad

According to a recent report by French media outlet Footmercato journalist Santi Aouna, Salah's agent is in talks with Al-Ittihad, and the player is more open to moving to Saudi Arabia.

Reports indicate that Saudi Arabia has been eyeing Mohamed Salah for several seasons. Until last season, Salah was an indispensable player for Liverpool, and he chose to continue his career in England, securing a contract extension after the 2024-2025 season.

However, Liverpool's poor season performance and Salah's decline in form led to a major controversy last year when he publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with not starting. From that moment on, the possibility of a transfer was raised, until the Africa Cup of Nations brought a fresh perspective.

Nevertheless, these events haven't been completely erased, evidenced by his representatives pushing forward transfer negotiations – his agent is currently negotiating with Al-Ittihad. Unlike last year, Salah is more open to a move to Saudi Arabia.

This could satisfy all parties involved, with Liverpool receiving a transfer fee, and Salah initiating the decision. Al-Ittihad lost two French stars in the winter transfer window: Benzema and Kanté, while Fabinho's contract expires next June.

As for Moussa Diaby, he has been linked with Inter Milan. Al-Ittihad need to strengthen its squad to remain competitive in the future, and with Salah, they will achieve a long-awaited major breakthrough.
