Declan Rice had the perfect response for Hungary fans who pelted Raheem Sterling with plastic cups on Thursday night.
Sterling opened the scoring in the 55th minute but had plastic cups thrown at him by home supporters as he celebrated his goal.
As he ran over to congratulate his team-mate, Rice picked up one of the cups and pretended to drink from it before throwing it back on the ground in defiance.
Rice revealed in June that he'd never had a pint before but vowed to have one if England won Euro 2020.
'Do you know what, until this day I have never had a beer and I am 22,' Rice said ahead of this summer's tournament.
'That is the truth. Never had a pint. Don't drink it.
'Not really [a drinker]. But a pint? No.
'I know it is off topic but I have never had a beer. People get surprised. I just don't like the smell of it so I have never gone near it.'
Rice went on to score England's fourth goal after Harry Kane and Harry Maguire had added to the scoreline earlier in the game.
The midfielder's shot was palmed into his own net by Hungary goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
Sterling had been pelted with cups after he had paid tribute to his friend Steffie Gregg, who died aged 26 a few days ago.
The forward took off his shirt to reveal a message which read: 'Love you forever Steffie Gregg.'
Sterling and Jude Bellingham were also subjected to racist abuse with Hungary fans directing monkey chants at the pair.
Home supporters had also booed England's players for taking the knee before kick-off.
The match had been place on a 'red list' by FIFA due to a high risk of racist and homophobic abuse following conduct by Hungary supporters during their Euro 2020 campaign this summer, which saw the team handed a three-match stadium ban by UEFA after incidents against France and Portugal.
The third game of the ban is suspended for a probationary period of two years, with Hungary also instructed to display a banner promoting equality at future matches.
In addition, the Hungarian Football Federation was given a £85,500 fine for the number of fan infringements.
However, Hungary were able to play in front of 67,000 spectators at the Ferenc Puskas Stadium in Budapest against the Three Lions because they were playing in a competition run by FIFA.
