Roma defender Gianluca Mancini says defeat at Hellas Verona was "unacceptable".
Ondrej Duda and Cyril Ngonge struck for Verona, with Houssem Aouar on the scoresheet for Roma. Verona could also afford the dismissal of Isak Hein as they held on.
"It is a difficult start, we struggled today and it is clear that seeing Roma with one point after two rounds is unacceptable," Mancini told reporters in the mixed zone.
Mancini also slammed the press for running Roger Ibanez out of the club and to Al-Ahli.
“He is a player that you all criticised a great deal in the past, but he's gone now and we simply have to progress."
