Roma to compete with West Ham for Man Utd player Zirkzee

Roma are eyeing Manchester United striker Josh Zirkzee.

The Holland international is ready to leave United in January over a lack of minutes this season. Zirkzee has concerns about his place in Holland's World Cup squad should his club situation continue.

As such, Zirkzee is eyeing a return to Italy, where the former Bologna striker is on the radar of Roma.

The Sun says Roma are keen to setup a loan deal in January, with finances tight at the Giallorossi.

Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini is a fan of Zirkzee, though Premier League competition could arrive midseason from West Ham, which are also watching developments.
