Romano: Ruben Amorim has just been SACKED by Manchester United. Decision made this morning. Tensions with United’s hierarchy, including football director Jason Wilcox, over January transfer strategy & tactical approach (Amorim’s 3-4-3 preference clashed with club’s vision). It’s over. #MUFC
Amorim’s post-Leeds presser remarks (“I came here to be manager, not coach”) were the final straw. He wanted full control over transfers & strategy, which United refused. No turning back—decision confirmed, he’s out.

We may blame Amorim but the recruitment strategies of United's board is what we fans we don't see. I tell you, if someone is the manager, he must be given full authority in the recruitment without restrictions but that's what United don't give. that's y Ole failed by being forced to miss on Hallan, Caicedo, Julian Alvarez, Rice and also forced to bring in CR7 yet he had many young promising lads. we fans we just look at the performance but not what is behind the curtain. have we ever asked ourselves how many big managers came to United but didn't deliver?

You’re very on point with this . Ole clearly had something great going and bringing in CR7 derailed him totaly. CR7 would have been prefect for city at the time . He would have broken so many records and wil have built a great future with Haaland and all the young lads Ole was building
