Romano: Betis midfielder Sergi Altimira joins Sporting CP for €18m

Here we go! According to well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Betis midfielder Sergi Altimira is joining Sporting CP.

After a principal agreement was reached earlier this week, Sporting CP and Real Betis have now officially finalized the transfer of the Spanish midfielder.

The transfer fee is €18 million, plus add-ons. Altimira will undergo a medical examination within the next 24 hours.

According to previous reports, Barcelona will receive approximately €400,000 in youth development compensation.
