Romano: Chelsea talent Yahya Idrissi has signed new deal

Chelsea talent Yahya Idrissi has signed new deal at the club as he’s part of long term project.

The agreement is valid until June 2028.

Yahya Idrissi is an attacking midfielder who enjoys dribbling with the ball, sprinting quickly and getting into goal-scoring positions.

During the 2023/24 season, Idrissi showed his goal-scoring ability as he netted 19 goals and provided 14 assists for our Under-16s. He made four league appearances for the Under-18s side, scoring once. Additionally, he was heavily involved in the Under-16 Premier League Tournament and the Under-17 Premier League Cup win.

He has played constantly for his international team, Morocco, throughout the Under-17 and Under-18 teams.

Idrissi frequently appeared as a substitute for Chelsea Under-21s during the early 2024/25 season, making notable contributions, including a last-minute goal in a 6-2 victory over Aston Villa at Cobham in September.
