Romano: Sterling has been recommended to Napoli though high salary makes it hard

Romano talked about Sterling's situation, stating that Sterling has been recommended to Napoli, but due to his current high salary, he is not Napoli's top priority.

Romano:

"Please note Sterling's situation, because first of all, he cannot go abroad on loan, as Chelsea's international loan quota has been used up, and they can only loan players within England."

"Therefore, both Fulham and West Ham United have contacted Sterling, but the player himself is open to an overseas experience. Last year, Napoli considered Sterling but ultimately decided not to proceed."

"Sterling has been recommended to Napoli again, with the player himself promoting himself to Napoli, but this requires a permanent transfer, and his current salary level is unimaginable. Therefore, I can tell you today that Sterling is not Napoli's top priority."

"If it were the last few days of the transfer market, Napoli would know there's a possibility of signing him, but today, I reiterate that, whether from a cost or technical selection perspective, he is not on Napoli's priority list, also due to issues with the transfer situation and fees."
