Two late goals saw Jose Mourinho's side come from behind to inflict Juventus' first defeat of the season on Wednesday
Cristiano Ronaldo claims former side Manchester United "did nothing to deserve" their shock 2-1 win over Juventus in Turin on Wednesday.
A stunning volley from Ronaldo looked to have won a key Champions League clash for the Bianconeri, only for Juan Mata's free-kick and an Alex Sandro own goal to gift United all three points late on.
The home side had plenty of chances to kill the game in the second half, with the likes of Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado all guilty of missing some golden opportunities, but the introduction of Marouane Fellaini for United seemed to ruffle the feathers of Juventus’ backline.
Ronaldo had no sympathy for his former team at full-time and said Juventus gifted three points to the Red Devils.
“The Champions League is a special competition, where you could be winning, but can’t relax, as anything can happen,” Ronaldo told Sky Sport Italia.
“We dominated the game for 90 minutes, had so many chances, could’ve killed it off three or four times, but we relaxed and were punished.
“Manchester United did nothing to win the game. You can’t even talk about luck, because you have to find your own luck and in this case we just gifted it to them.
“Now we’ve got to lift our heads, as we played really well and are still top of the group.”
The shock victory for United has left them in an excellent position to qualify from Group H, with Mourinho’s side regaining second place from Valencia and now just two points behind leaders Juventus.
The Serie A champions will still expect to progress to the knockout stages, with just one more victory required to guarantee them a place in the last 16.
Captain Giorgio Chiellini slammed his team following the match on Wednesday and claimed that a result like this had been on the cards for some time.
“We want to go all the way and if we are to do that, we must learn from this sort of mistake,” Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia.
“We’ve been threatening this sort of mess for a few games, to be honest, as we get too complacent and run risks that are totally unnecessary.
“Maybe now we’ll get our heads down and focus the way we need to in every single match, taking nothing for granted.”

Ronaldo sait true he assist around 3 or 4 but his teammate dint able to put in goal. but Manunited play very well from the very first minute especially for 15minutes if you have watch them play. but the substitution of Mourinho with Mata and Fellani we can see still he is great coach he can read the game very well n execute it nicely ,united deserve appreciation for winning in their home .

Juve coach is to blame, for bringing Barzagli to defend, defending when you are already leading at home I mean it's insane juve could have tried to keep holding the ball when Defending you are giving room forore pressure

Juventus have not yet realised the ammunition (CR7) they have at there disposal. Thats why the likes of Dybala and Cuadrado can play in a slimmish cantakerously self driven way. This explains why juventus are grinding out wins and that is why it was just a matter of time before a resilient team like Man u finally found a way to avoid the ground by Juventus. "The sooner juventus realise and start supporting the weapon they have in Cristiano Ronaldo, the better for them in champions league."

If football was about points, and possession Juv should have won the game, since football is about tactics and goals Manchester won the game. missing chances, missing a penalty, wood work all those are part of the game, where did you watch a game without a save or a miss? congrats man u keep it up Juv.

If United didn't put 9 people in defence every time Juve were on the attack this game would have been killed of by 3 or 4 for real. It's just United played a double decker instead of a single decker in defence... Juve were wasteful and that was the difference... 83 mins of pure domination but still missing so many chances. Juve aren't clinical enough...

please u guys should stop supporting nonsense am not a man u nor Juve fan but i do like cr7 games alot but this statement is very wrong from him. i wish to understand what he means by united didn't deserve the win. learn to accept defeat when u have been defeated. But teams did alot to deserve the win Juve were just unable to concritise their so many chances while united simply made good use of their small chances and finally winning the game so cr7 statement is v wrong n bad comx from him. united just fought till the last minute thats what made them conquerors. if u r a true football fan u will like this comment. please lets stop supportx particular teams or players blindly. like if u are on same point with me

Strange comments from Ronaldo. United didn't deserve to win? Juve gifted them the match? If we are to use that logic then it would be fair to say Ronaldo didn't deserve to win UCL in 2016 - Atlethico led madrid for the 90 minutes before madrid equalized. Also, the clear offside goals that he got against Bayern - should we say the ref gave madrid that match?...... He should never have any problem with the way in which United won, because they atleast won it fair and square.

Don't forget Real Madrid lost to Tottenham last season Champions League, and that didn't stop them from Winning the Cup.. As long as Ronaldo is in form the coach correct all his mistakes they are good to go, Man Utd should just watch out against Valencia, if they are not careful they could get beaten, Small team in England trashed you so I don't see why they couldn't, Man Utd is getting lucky this days. look at all those Juventus shots that hit the Bar... y'all Yourself know you don't deserve that Win, Quote me if you like I don't care... I'm just going to watch how long Your luck will last

The prophecy of David de gea keep coming true every game now , that United to win games , they have to concede first , what an unpopular trend from Man Utd , but it's yielding result , Mata's free-kick was simply sumptuous, Young also did well by placing his own free-kick in a very tight angle that forced Sandro to deflect the ball into his own net. Great feeling for Jose Mourinho and his charges . Feel good atmosphere is returning to Old Trafford.

5 to United 4? they had 3 to United's 3. They weren't clinical but they did better in everything. Better passes, more possession, more attempts. If a team has 23 attempts to 9 clearly the other team weren't going forward enough hence bus park. If United were on the offensive and managed 9 shots then they should stick to defensive football... The most defensive team in europe had more possession than United tonight. Are you telling me United didn't play defensively?

if u have 23 shot and only 5 on target biw can that be good, and a team had 9 shots and 4 on target who is more effective, see how they were just shooting from far anyhow, does that make them dominance?the most important thing in football is e goals and we overpowered them there and that is what is important,Liverpool had everything you are saying yesterday but they lost 2:0,if it was knockout they would have been out,and who will remember your possession, your passes and your off target shots, you need to understand football, besides united were playing away, they never backed down from the onset they took the game to juventus, they attacked when they should and did u see the number of players juve use to defend when united is with the ball?u must be joking

For Juventus, when you get your opportunities, try convert them... 2 ball hit the post.. So many clean chances saved by DE Gea... Man utd had limited number of some.. They converted the only 1 they got... Juventus where lucky not to have conceded the last minute chance from RashFord..
