In what will be the tenth edition of Dubai's Globe Soccer Awards, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann have been nominated for the best player prize.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony on January 3, 2019, in association with the 13th Dubai International Sports Conference, organised by Dubai Sports Council.
Globe Soccer's chief executive, Tommaso Bendoni, made the announcement.
"The 10th anniversary of the Globe Soccer Awards is a special milestone," he said.
"We are delighted to present Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann as the finalists in the best player category."
The ex-Real Madrid forward, who won the Champions League last season, is a four-time winner of the award and has been shortlisted on eight occasions, and will be looking to win for the third consecutive year.
However, he will be competing with two World Cup winners in the Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid stars.

at least they made genuine choice for this one for finalists,did you think I would say like that Messi was far better than griezman he should have been in top3 I understand mbappe he was good in ligue 1 and best at world cup but Messi was good in laliga and CDR if not in UCL and what griezman was good didn't score in super cup final against Madrid and won europa league in which no top teams like real Madrid,Barcelona,Bayern,Juventus participate what a joke at least I think it will be a genuine winner,as I know cr7 will be snubbed for ballondor and modric will win it which is not deserved because there were players better than him at world cup but he won golden ball just the reason that crotia reached final and lost or were humiliated in final,let's see I expect either varane or mbappe to win it who were good in world cup and UCL and in leagues

Yall just busting up griezmann ..but none of u guys know how important he is for french team and atletico madrid..Scoring in everygame is not possible..and he is not selfish enough to Shoot everytime he gets the ball like ronaldo..he is more of like messi..being undelfish and joining the midfield with attack..also mbappe would not havr performed well if there was no griezmann..he has also won quit a bit of individual prizes at worldcup and dont forget he had most MVPs ..He was also the europa league player of season..surely he deserves it ..if not ..Then messi..No one else

well messi played in the same league as cr7 and griezmann and he scored more goals,created more chances and more assists.although cr7 played well in UCL and was second top scorer BEHIND MESSI and mbappe was also good but griezmann doesn't deserve it...
